So the other day I picked up a funky mid-century sunburst clock for either my dining room or living room. I continue to go for that mid-century feel for my clunky little mid-century house. I'm not sure why. Perhaps I am trying to remake my place into my parent's house circa when I was a tot.
This evening, while moving the sunburst from place to place to find the optimum location, it slipped from its wall fastener and dropped... breaking two of its arrows.
It appears I can easily repair one of the arrows, but the second one sheared off completely. It will need a complicated, detailed repair.
Just what I need, another little project to add to all the big projects I have. Great. Thanks, broken sunburst. You really brightened my day... not.
